To view the
streaming video, you must have:
1) a high-speed internet connection, and
2) the latest version of QuickTime.
Steps for viewing streaming video:
1) If you see an image of spectacles like this
immediately
below, you already have Quicktime and should skip to step 3.
2) Download QuickTime (opens a new browser window) and install it. Then return to this page.
3) Click here for a test page (opens a new window). If QuickTime has been properly installed, it will start and display two sample high-speed streaming movies. If you see the two short movies and hear music, skip to step 5).
4) If you get an error message or experience other problems, check the connection settings of QuickTime and that you have a high-speed internet connection (DSL or better). If you still have problems, consult your IT manager or jstrom@ciw.edu.
5) About five minutes before the lecture is scheduled to begin click here (opens a new window).
If you do not have a high-speed internet connection, a low-speed on-demand version of the lecture will be available a day or so after the lecture, along with a high-speed on-demand version.
