The administrative offices of the Carnegie Institution of Washington are headquartered in a historic, neoclassical building at the corner of 16th and P Streets in Northwest Washington, DC. The President, financial officers, human resources personnel, external affairs administrators, publications officers, and support staff perform their duties from this downtown location.

Assistant to the president and assistant secretary to the Board of Trustees, is also responsible for the Institution's archives.

Editor and publications officer, oversees the institution's publications and news efforts.

Facilities coordinator, oversees building maintenance and rental.

Ines Cifuentes
Director of the Carnegie Academy for Science Education (CASE), a summer science institute where elementary school teachers learn interactive techniques of science teaching, and First Light, a Saturday "hands-on" science school where elementary school students explore worlds within and around them.
