Pioneering Genome Researcher to Address Washington Audience

February 4, 2003, Washington, D.C. Join Eric Lander, Director of the Whitehead Institute and the Center for Genome Research at MIT, as he discusses “The Human Genome and Beyond” at the Carnegie Institution, Tuesday, February 11, at 6:30 pm. This free lecture will examine the avalanche of biological information created by the sequencing of DNA in humans and other animals. This progress has forced a hasty marriage between biology and information technology: how are they getting along, and where are they headed?
