Looking at what actually goes
on during a day at CASE is perhaps the best way to explain our approach
to science education. The week's organizing question for the theme Life and Environments is: How do plants and animals adapt to protect themselves from changes in weather and climate? Instruction begins with a warm-up activity. The participants are provided over 50 species of flowers to observe, describe and draw. Stereoscopes, magnifying lenses, tweezers, and drawing implements are available.
