QuickTime is set by default to automatically configure its transport protocol. However, if you are having trouble viewing a streaming video, you might try configuring manually.

In QuickTime preferences, select Transport Protocol.
Set for HTTP
and
Port ID 80.

HTTP protocols can cross most firewalls. If you are still have problems, consult your network administrator or ISP support for assistance.
