| GL has established a new position—Staff Associate. It is a five-year temporary position for a promising young scientist at the development stage of his or her career. The expectation is that incumbents will enhance their career with a self-initiated and independent program of research at GL, and that the laboratory will benefit from the collaboration. The position is endowed with the same benefits and privileges as a Staff Member. GL takes great pleasure in announcing that the first appointment was awarded to James Scott , who started in his new position on Jan. 2. |
