Beginning Friday, May 3, the administration building in Washington, D.C., will host a Carnegie-wide symposium to culminate its centennial celebrations.Alan Dressler of the Observatories will kick off the event at Carnegie Evening. Scientists from each of the six departments will be featured speakers the next day. The presentations will explore the enormous range of Carnegie sciencefrom genes to extrasolar planets.
